POST WAR COMMANDO ASSOCIATIONS

Once the WW2 veterans had returned from the war, they established Associations to help fellow soldiers and their families who had returned from service. There were many of these Associations located around the country usually State based, or based on the Unit served in. Over time these Associations recognised the need to be able to lobby/influence government and so formed a National Association approach

M Special Unit, was a joint Allied special reconnaissance unit, part of the Services Reconnaissance Department, in the South West Pacific theatre of World War II.

Z SPECIAL UNIT ASSOCIATIONS

Z Special Unit was a joint Allied special forces unit formed during the Second World War to operate behind Japanese lines in South East Asia.
