Bring the family, drinks and a BBQ pack and enjoy the hospitality of the Yarra Pistol Club. There is air pistol shooting for those 12 and older; and partners and teenage adults should be able to have a shot with the pistols. The club also has a laser pistol that can be used by under 12s All participants will need to complete the attached Notice of Receiving Instruction and bring it with them to the Venue for authorisation -copies will be available on the day.
The President’s Shield competition is based on participant's (who must be financial members of their respective Associations) scores over 10 own-time static and 5 dualling shots as well as a fire & movement exercise undertaken by the best 3 shooters from each Association. Prizes will be awarded to the best shooter in each Association and to the top Non-Association Male & Female shooters Ear muff protection will be provided, however feel free to bring your own Eye and Ear protection as appropriate.
This is a great day for all, and we need your support to retain/regain the shield. Please let me know if you will be participating.
