SUNDAY 2ND OF JULY, 2023

On behalf of all members of the Australian Commando Association Queensland we extend this invitation to you to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice on OPERATION RIMAU in 1944/45. 

The 23 members of Z Special Unit, Services Reconnaissance Department (SRD), Special Operations Australia (SOA) during WW2 launched this raid against Japanese shipping in Singapore Harbour.

This invitation includes all past and present serving veterans, members, families, friends, and carers.

Commemorative Service

Guests are requested to arrive at 10:45 hrs for a 11:00 hrs start, Sunday 2nd of July, 2023

A light lunch will be available from 1200hrs in the Luncheon Room, Queensland Maritime Museum. 

This will be followed by drinks at the Ship Inn in Southbank.
