Heartfelt tributes are being shared across the New South Wales Hunter Valley after the death of Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon.

The 33-year-old was injured during a parachute training exercise at the RAAF base at Richmond in Sydney on Wednesday evening, with the Defence Force announcing on Thursday afternoon he had passed away.
